Parents feel valued and appreciate the 'nurturing approach' of the manager and staff.

Parents comment that they would relish even more ideas on how to support their children's learning at home.

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff have a good knowledge of their key children and identify their needs quickly. They support families to access the relevant agencies and make referrals when needed, ensuring children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and those with additional needs receive appropriate support in a timely manner. Staff are passionate about supporting children with SEND to reach their full potential, implementing intervention groups to help them develop communication, listening, and attention skills.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy outdoor play, exploring sand and soil, and engaging in climbing wall and balance beam activities. However, the curriculum is not as well thought out for those children who prefer to learn outdoors, meaning they do not have consistent access to a wide range of meaningful and purposeful experiences when playing outside.

We are so grateful to Purple Bees for the incredible year our daughter has spent there. She joined when she was just one, and in that time she has grown in ways we never imagined. Her language development amazes us every day, as does her confidence and the way she interacts so happily with other children. Purple Bees provides such a safe, nurturing environment, and the support staff genuinely care. They really engage with the children, and our daughter developed a lovely bond with the team; I know she will miss them deeply. The range of activities offered is fantastic. She loves singing songs, exploring, and getting involved in all the creative, stimulating experiences they set up. I’ve especially appreciated the regular updates on Famly and the thoughtful observations from the team, which help me understand where she is in her developmental journey. The nursery also does a wonderful job of keeping families informed through their lovely newsletter. They truly embrace cultural celebrations and events, always inviting families to join in - something that has felt incredibly heart warming and inclusive. We are moving to a new area, otherwise we would have loved for her to continue at Purple Bees. We honestly wish we could take this nursery with us! I would highly recommend Purple Bees to any parent looking for a caring, engaging, and supportive environment for their child. It has been a wonderful place for our daughter to spend her day, and we will always be grateful for the start they gave her.

I am absolutely thrilled about the amazing nursery my son has been attending for nearly a year now! I am very happy that he will continue attending the nursery until his transition to school. I can't even put into words how incredibly grateful we are for the entire team at Purple Bees. From the moment I reached out to inquire about the nursery and scheduled a visit, I was blown away by the level of care and attention they provide. Their website is incredibly informative, and their focus on safety and nurturing is unmatched. The communication is top-notch, and I love that I can see everything about my son's day on the app – from his meals to nap time. They work hand in hand with us to support our son's development and well-being, and also to make things easy at the times we need to change the day attendance. It's just fantastic! I highly recommend this nursery to everyone, and if I have another child, they will definitely attend Purple Bees!
