Kingsway Children's Centre, located in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, provides high-quality day care for children aged 5 months to 5 years. Renowned for its commitment to excellence, the centre has consistently achieved an 'Outstanding' rating from Ofsted in 2011, 2015, and 2022.
Operating for 50 weeks a year, the centre can accommodate up to 40 children daily. It welcomes all parents and carers from Scunthorpe and the surrounding community, whether they live, work, or study in the area.
The centre also supports families by accepting the 15 hours free entitlement funding. As an integral part of North Lindsey College, Kingsway Children's Centre upholds a standard of comprehensive care and education for early years development.

Inclusion & environment
The whole staff team are highly skilled at supporting those children with additional needs. Throughout the day staff and children can be seen using sign language to support communication. The Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) is extremely passionate about supporting children with additional needs. Senior leaders have made this a priority, and ensured that all children are able to participate in all aspects of nursery life, and are accepted, welcomed and supported by all children.
Children are excited to spend time outdoors, and are curious to explore the many activities available. This rich environment enables them to build on their previous learning and offers a fantastic opportunity to improve their physical strength, balance and coordination.
The setting supports children who speak English as an additional language.
