Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

The support in place for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is strong. Leaders act quickly and work well with external professionals and parents to get children the support they rightly deserve. This helps children with SEND to make good progress.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy spending time outdoors and learning about the world around them. They search for stones, sticks and different-coloured leaves, and are fascinated to look at bugs and discuss different types of insects. Children excitedly ask the inspector to "come and see" a "dinosaur footprint" that they find outdoors.

What can I say? I have two incredible daughters who have flourished and are bright, polite and happy. There is no way my partner and I can take all the credit for this however since both girls have attended Ladybirds since they were about 6 months old and we are certain that they are who they are today because of the incredible experience they have at this nursery. The staff are warm and loving to our children, they often go above and beyond and the facility is just lovely! I've spoken to many other friends which children in other nurseries and I've never heard of anyone else who has had such a positive experience as we have had. During the pandemic they were very fair about balancing costs and whenever we have found ourselves in sudden need of support with something, they have always been there for us. My girls love every minute of their time at Ladybirds and it will be a very sad day for us all when they're too old to attend anymore.
