How they support every child

SEND provision

Children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, make excellent progress. Staff work well with the special educational needs coordinator and other agencies to rapidly identify any gaps in children's development, providing excellent interventions to target those gaps. Targeted training has helped staff to deepen their understanding of how to support children who have a speech and language delay.

Outdoor space

Children learn how to keep themselves safe, for example by controlling their speed as they ride bikes down a slope in the garden.

My son recently started at Leapfrog on Villiers Road. I was a nervous wreck about him starting and not being with me all day (I had taken the full 12 months maternity leave and we were inseparable). The staff at Villiers Road were so compassionate, understanding and caring that I signed him up to attend and my god am I grateful I did! They have been so attentive and caring through the first few difficult days. Not only have they been amazing with my son but with my husband and I too. Happy to answer questions, they took all the time needed to discuss concerns and explain what my son would be doing each day and explain their ethos of care. They really have a individualised approach for each child and are child led. I am so grateful to the whole nursery team and cannot thank them enough. I would be a crying heap without them! I have also found the whole office team just beyond lovely and helpful. It is just all around an amazing place and I feel safe and happy sending my son there to be cared for.
