What it's like to attend

Children are safe and secure in this friendly and welcoming nursery. They relish the extensive play and learning opportunities. Children’s confidence is developed very well, and they adapt to new routines with ease.

Inspector highlights

  • Leaders and staff have high expectations and closely monitor children's progress, responding swiftly to any emerging gaps.
  • Passionate staff ensure children develop skills for the next stage of learning, gathering detailed information from parents and working with them to consolidate learning at home.
  • Staff provide many opportunities for children to use their home language, using key words in children's own languages during play and routines.
  • Communication with parents has been maintained during the COVID-19 pandemic, with parents speaking highly of staff and the manager.
  • Children learn to be independent, with babies using cutlery and pre-school children tidying up. All children show good progress in their physical development.
