Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
"their children are very well cared for and carefully prepared for the transitions from home to nursery and to school."
Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and or disabilities (SEND) are completely included. The manager and staff quickly identify any additional support children may need and work closely with parents and outside professionals to help them progress well. The special educational needs coordinator ensures all staff understand children's support plans, and funding is used to give targeted support for disadvantaged children or those with SEND.
Children quickly find their own choice from inviting play activities in the carefully planned environment. Children and babies explore a good range of sensory play in their own welcoming spaces, for example, babies feel textured balls and brushes and splash happily in the water tray.
Little Acorns is a fantastic nursery. From my child's first day I felt confident that they won't only be safe and loved, but supported and challenged. The team are fantastic, always putting the children first and communicating brilliantly with parents.
Read on GoogleThe staff is extremely friendly, enthusiastic and always there to talk to you. They always provide a wide range of activities and are constantly helping the children to learn new things and I feel this has contributed to my son development. I was always happy to leave him at Little Acorns as I know he was always be having fun and learning new things. I would highly recommend Little Acorns Day Nursery if your looking for someone who provides a caring and safe environment.
Read on GoogleFantastic nursery! Highly recommended to anyone!
Read on GoogleI am deeply disappointed with our experience at this nursery. My child was consistently singled out and picked on by staff — behaviour that is completely unacceptable in a setting that is supposed to provide a safe and nurturing environment for young children. Rather than addressing any concerns professionally, staff chose to target my child directly. This kind of conduct is not only unprofessional but damaging to a child’s confidence and wellbeing. I would strongly caution other parents to think carefully before enrolling their child here. Every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued — and that was simply not our experience.
