The nursery prioritises individual needs through a carefully considered key-person approach, fostering strong bonds between children and adults to ensure they feel safe and secure.

This approach helps children, especially those at risk of falling behind like disadvantaged groups or those with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), make good progress. How they support every child

SEND provision

I honestly can’t thank Leaps and Bounds enough for the incredible care and love they’ve shown my children over the years. Both of my little ones spent their nursery years here, and I can truly say it was one of the best decisions I ever made. From the very beginning, the staff were warm, supportive, and genuinely invested in my children’s happiness and development. Every day, they created a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where my children could thrive, explore, and grow. The level of care and consistency has been nothing short of amazing — not once did I have a single problem during all the years we’ve been with them. It’s rare to find a place where you feel completely at ease leaving your children, knowing they’re in the best hands. Thank you for being everything a parent could hope for in a nursery — caring, trustworthy, dedicated, and full of heart. Took my son into Leaps and Bounds on his first day. I could tell immediately they wanted me to leave so I decided to stay around a little longer to see how they handled having a parent there watching them work. They handled it very poorly & after only a minute literally picked my son up and took him away from me into another room even though he was crying and obviously distressed. This was clearly done to get me to leave, so I did leave & took my son with me. What they didn't know is that I have been working in children's services for over 15 years so I can quite easily recognise people who are great with children and those who should be pursuing another career.

My daughter loves this nursery, you can tell they all really care about her. Never had any problems with them and I will be happy to keep her here until school. After hearing other peoples experiences close to me about their nursery I feel so grateful we found this one. Definitely would enrol any future babies I have too.

My son has Autism, ive been denied nursery here because of it. I went to see the nursery everything was fine they gave me a form to fill out and told me they had plenty of spaces this was on a Thursday, I asked one of the nursery teachers should bring back the form on Friday she said no rush don't worry we have plenty of spaces. I went in with him on Monday to look at the nursery, as soon as he went in he went to the reception areas where there was 3 teachers. Just their reaction to him i had a gut feeling they don't want him there. Few days went by i rang them to see if they got the code they was asking me when i went to visit the nursery. Apparently that was the only thing stopping him booking the settling in. Week went by didn't hear so i called again and was brushed off apparently is closing time they cant help me till the morning. The next day never got that call. This was June 13th 2024, my health visitor even called them to see what was taking long they advised her that they are trying to get someone that will come in just for him they will call me to book the settlement in, that didn't happen i called them yesterday June 24th only to be told is full! I noticed there was not a-lot of afro/Caribbean there so is either they have a limit they want to take or my son is being discriminated because of his illness either or is not right I will be taking this further. My son was so happy at the viewing he didn't even want to go home. Shame on you leaps and bounds
