Inclusion & environment
Leaders and staff are committed to providing a welcoming and supportive provision for all children. They effectively support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities as well as those who face other barriers to learning. Leaders work in partnership with families, external professionals and other agencies to plan and review support, stepping in quickly when extra help is needed.
Children demonstrate their enjoyment of outdoor play, which is closely monitored by staff. Daily access to outdoor learning further supports physical confidence, wellbeing and an appreciation of the natural environment.
Children who speak English as an additional language are well supported through staff's understanding of promoting their home languages. Staff introduce new vocabulary enthusiastically to extend children's spoken word.
I visited this nursery on 4 June 2024 and found it to be modern, clean, light and inviting. The staff were engaged with what the children were doing. The manager & deputy manager clearly understand their responsibilities to keep the children safe. The building was secure. Importantly, the children were well behaved and happy to be there.
