Little Acorns Day Nursery, established in 2004, is an independent day nursery situated within the secure premises of St Andrews School in Cobham. The nursery is purpose-built and fully air-conditioned, with a focus on children's learning, development, and enjoyment across four age groups.
A key feature is their separate and dedicated gardens, along with an on-site forest school, promoting outdoor play and learning. The nursery provides extensive outdoor space, allowing children in the over-two rooms free-flow access to the garden.
An experienced chef prepares fresh, healthy meals in the nursery kitchen, accommodating allergies, dietary requirements, and weaning babies. The nursery is committed to providing quality childcare that acknowledges each child's individuality and aims to create a friendly and comfortable environment for children and their families.
They are open 50 weeks a year, closing for two weeks (one in summer and one at Christmas), and also on Bank Holidays.

Pricing & funding
Fees are charged monthly in advance, calculated based on a fifty-week year to account for closure weeks. Daily rates are split into two age brackets: one for babies and tinies, and another for toddlers and preschool children. Fees are comprehensive and cover meals, nappies, wipes, trips, and most extra-curricular activities.

Good to know
- Fees must be paid by Standing Order in advance on the 1st of each month.
- Calculated over 50 weeks per year, ensuring monthly fees remain consistent throughout closure periods.
- No refunds or discounts are given for Bank Holidays, which are fully payable.
- Fees include nappies, wipes, food, drinks, art supplies, trips, and extra-curriculars (except Forest School).
- A sibling discount of 10% is applied to the younger child's fees.
- Funded hours are stretched (11 or 22 hours per week) with a voluntary hourly consumables fee.

A wonderful nursery whose teachers have inspired and nurtured my little boy in his pre-school year and have more than prepared him for his first year at "big" school. I know he will miss the little acorns team and all the friends he has made there.
