What parents say

Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection

Parents report positively on the nurturing and welcoming staff team and the good communication they receive.

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

Outdoor space

Children's physical development is promoted well through daily opportunities to explore the local environment, such as woodland walks. Young children confidently use child-sized furniture to support their first steps, and they are provided with opportunities to explore different materials like sand, cornflour, and water daily.

EAL / language support

The support for children who speak English as an additional language is not always promoted as effectively, which results in some children not communicating as well.

My son has been thriving since he joined over 2 years ago. The practitioners listen and are attentive to his needs. The extra curricular and weekly seasonally themed activities are a bonus, allowing him to learn about celebrations and other countries. He loves attending nursery, the Little Bees farm, swimming and has made bonds with the practitioners as well. We’ve also shared information regarding SLT support and they’ve done everything possible to align with medical professional’s recommendations. Little Bees are accommodating to our reasonable schedules changes and have always made us feel welcome. Highly recommend this nursery!

Absolutely the best nursery in my eyes. I transferred my little boy from his previous nursery as something just didn't feel right and as soon as he started within 2 weeks he settled like he'd been there for months. All the staff at little bee's were so warming and made the whole settling in process seamless. From drop off to pick up, communication was always a priority and even the smallest thing that happened would be communicated so you don't feel like you've missed out. My favourite part about the nursery is the outdoor space and fresh air the kids would get, they have invested so much into making it the best space for all the rooms. I would recommend this nursery to anyone as it really feels like home.

Our daughter is thriving at this incredible nursery, and we couldn’t be happier with the environment and care she receives. The owner has created a truly unique space, both indoors and outdoors, where children can explore and learn through real-life experiences. From caring for animals to planting and learning about nature, the opportunities for discovery are endless. The location is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery, giving the children countless chances to be little explorers in a safe and enriching setting. The manager is wonderfully supportive and always so helpful to parents, and the staff are incredibly kind and nurturing, providing engaging and thoughtful activities every day. It’s evident that so much love and passion go into every aspect of this nursery. There are events monthly that include the parents to participate and get to know what their children are getting to learn. Our daughter is lucky to be part of such a special place, and we truly believe there’s nothing like it. We absolutely recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a nurturing, fun, and educational environment for their little one.

Little Bee’s Day Nursery is an exceptional, nurturing space where children thrive in a fun, engaging atmosphere that feels like a second home. Their variety of events, such as the Fun Day, welcome days, and, most recently, pumpkin carving, keeps families engaged and children excited about learning. The outdoor area is a real gem, featuring a mud kitchen for imaginative play, sensory items to stimulate curiosity, and even resident guinea pigs and chickens, teaching children empathy and responsibility. The staff at the nursery are incredible and it is evident that they care deeply about the children that they look after. From arranging creative sessions and activities that support EYFS learning to the emotional support that they give the children, they are always giving 100% and truly make the nursery such a wonderful place. Little Bee’s truly goes above and beyond to create a joyful environment where children feel welcomed and inspired every day. I feel extremely lucky to have found such a wonderful nursery for my daughter to attend! Keep up the fantastic work Little Bee's :)

As a first time mum, I was so nervous about putting my child into nursery. I shouldn’t have been ! We have made 100% the right choice - my daughter loves attending Little Bee’s. She’s already formed such a great bond with her caregivers, and has so much fun whenever she goes in. The setting is always looking to expand and improve on itself - a feature I really appreciate, too. So glad we found little bees!
