Inclusion & environment
Leaders create a very inclusive culture where they identify and assess children's individual needs promptly and skilfully. They use a robust graduated approach, drawing on high-quality information from observations, families and external professionals. This ensures that support is targeted from the earliest point. Leaders are extremely passionate about inclusion and take thoughtful and strategic action to reduce barriers to children's learning and wellbeing. They use a dedicated special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) hub, ensuring that children with SEND can access the curriculum meaningfully. As a result, children participate fully in nursery life and make sustained progress.
Daily outdoor play and sensitive interactions help children to develop confidence and regulate their emotions. Leaders ensure that reasonable adjustments, such as making adaptations to the environment and targeted adult support, enable children's full participation.
My daughter started with little conkers in January 2022, i had never left her with anyone except family before so was understandably extremely anxious. Over the last 16 months of her being a Little Conker, she has absolutely flourished. With the assistance of the staff here, she has just become the most intelligent, polite little girl. The ethos, the staff, the other kids, the communication, I have not a single fault for this childcare provider. I never thought I would be so comfortable trusting anyone but family with my children. If you are in the area and are thinking of sending your child to little conkers, you really will not regret it. I could not recommend more. Thank you all so much for everything over the last 16 months, you have been more than amazing to us. We will miss you massively and will remember you all forever ❤️

They also support children with additional needs and help their parents with EHCP application. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone who is looking for excellent service and make sure your child is well cared! If I have a second child , I would definitely bring him/her to this place! Best wishes, Olena
