The setting places a large emphasis on outdoor learning, providing well-resourced outdoor spaces for physical activity in all weathers, ensuring a holistic approach to each child's growth and development.

Our ethos

Little Crickets Forest School offers a nature-immersed learning experience, fostering curiosity, resilience, and a connection with the outdoors through hands-on activities and guided adventures. They aim to nurture a lifelong love for learning and the environment, with a qualified Forest School Leader guiding daily sessions that include activities like den building, safe fire pit use, and exploring local flora and fauna. The curriculum encourages children to assess risks and make safe decisions during their explorations.

Children demonstrate that they are happy within the provision, feeling safe and secure as they develop a sense of belonging. The ambitious curriculum provides a wide range of experiences, allowing children to build resilience and problem-solving skills through play. Children are curious and motivated, making independent choices about their play, and staff thoughtfully extend learning by engaging alongside them and introducing new vocabulary.

Fees are charged per session, with options for full days, school days, or half days. Published rates include all meals, snacks, and drinks provided during the sessions.
