Inclusion & environment
There is good support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Staff monitor children's development closely and promptly notice any gaps in their learning. They work in effective partnership with parents and other professionals to ensure all children reach their full potential. The provider uses additional funding to provide care that matches their individual needs extremely well.
Children enjoy running and climbing in the fresh air, for example, as staff expertly support them to challenge themselves to extend their physical skills. Children benefit from opportunities to plant, grow and harvest produce from the garden.
It has been a year now since my daughter took her very first step into the world of learning outside our home, and I must say it has been a truly wonderful journey. The progress she has made in such a short span of time is heartwarming to see. The teachers — or rather, as I like to call them, the children’s friends — are absolutely amazing. Their warmth, patience, and creative teaching methods make the children feel comfortable, happy, and eager to learn every single day. The variety of activities conducted throughout the year has played a huge role in building the children’s confidence and independence. From storytelling sessions and art activities to fun learning games and celebrations, everything is thoughtfully planned to nurture not just academics but also life skills and social development. We have seen a remarkable improvement in her communication, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning. It’s a joy to see her look forward to going to school every morning with a big smile. We are truly grateful to the entire team for providing such a loving, engaging, and supportive environment that helps children grow beautifully — both intellectually and emotionally.

The growth we've witnessed in her during her time at Bournemouth Montessori has been nothing short of remarkable. Their nurturing environment and unique approach to learning have truly allowed our daughter to blossom into an independent, confident, and creative young lady. The emphasis on self-directed learning, respect for others, and fostering creativity has provided her with a solid foundation that will benefit her for years to come. We're so grateful for the dedicated and caring staff who have supported and guided our daughter every step of the way. Thank you for creating such a warm and inspiring space where children can grow, learn, and thrive. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had our daughter be a part of the Montessori family. She will truly miss each and everyone one of you and we are proud that she will carry a piece of you all into her ongoing adventures, that we call growth!

Read on GoogleReview for Montessori teacher training course : If you are thinking of teaching young children , wanting to become a parent or have children coming in to your life , I cannot recommend the Montessori course at BMC enough. It should , however, come with a warning label , as it will change you - if you are wanting change for whatever reason then you will get it ! It stripped me to my very core . It’s a course consisting of many levels, it is deep, it makes you confront yourself and on a personal level may challenge you , but it’s necessary as the world you’ll be going in to is a pure one , an honest one and a good one . It is a beautiful course , I sank in to it , Martha was my theory teacher, I learnt so much from this woman , I hold her and all the teachers and those that lovingly run BMC, in my heart. On a very practical level this course will give you opportunity in your own life , for me it has given me unexpected work, whilst I’ve been bringing up children I have run a couple of local children’s groups which has added extra purpose to my life along with a much needed social life . Before children and marriage I traveled solo to Peru and unexpectedly came across a Montessori teacher looking for a fellow Montessorian for her school , where I had to quickly learn Spanish and had the joy of making learning materials (with what material was available) for the school . Along with working for nurseries or maybe running your own , this qualification allows you to Childmind from home which would suit many parents. I met and made a life long friend on this course , she has since worked in Montessori nurseries in London over the years and has now completed her PGCE which she was able to do in less time because of the level of qualification received in this course . Most of all, this course with Maria Montessori’s teachings, prepared me and every day helps me with my own children . There have been times where I have been absolutely exhausted and felt pushed to my limits , if it wasn’t for this training I would not have the patience and knowledge needed daily to bring up children . It will also mean you have a positive impact on family and friends with children. It really does enable you to communicate with children, to allow them to grow as themselves , to help them develop positively , so that they grow in to positive independent adults who can benefit their surroundings and others . The vision Montessori had was one of world peace , and that is something that is needed more than ever . This course gives you a window in to the workings of children and to be your best possible self for them. The BMC nursery , ‘little house’ and ‘big house’, are stunningly perfect with the majority of materials, which are just gorgeous, made in house by the lovely Nuccia. This environment, you will see, instantly calms the children who come in to it. I am excited and proud for my son to start at BMC nursery school next year and excited to see where my own Montessori journey will take me next and over the rest of my life . Thank you so very much .
