SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those who face barriers to learning are generally supported through targeted interventions. Staff identify children who face barriers to learning at an early stage and work closely with families and other professionals to provide targeted support. Leaders use additional funding to support disadvantaged children, including resources and staff training.

Outdoor space

Children explore their environment and engage in a range of activities. They demonstrate independence as they select resources and explore both indoor and outdoor spaces. They enthusiastically search for bugs in the outdoor area, observing and handling them with care. Children in different groups have opportunities to mix during outdoor play.

EAL / language support

Children generally make appropriate progress across the areas of learning and development. They are confident communicators and use language to share ideas and express needs.
