NEVER in my life has my child and I been treated so poorly within a nursery establishment. The manager “Keisha” is very very rude and unprofessional, towards me and my child. The manager has been seen shouting and swearing at the children and staff, and also my child. The nursery is very unprofessional and untidy, it’s a shame really as it has so much potential, but the management is poor. My child went without water and lunch she was incredibly thirsty and hungry when we got out of the nursery and explained she wasn’t fed. When I asked about it I was dismissed and shouted at by the manger. I immediately took my child out of this establishment! The lack of care is beyond me. They have no passion or care when working with children. I wouldn’t recommend not one bit I understand now why the staff change weekly, they’ve also had enough!

I agree with the previous review! I have exactly the same experience as person before! My daughter came home once with rubber band stocked deep in her wrist what’s resulted with swallen hand and bruises on her wrist for few days! Potty training doesn’t exists! I am not able to see her key person and all I hear is always excuses! Me and my husband we were raising concerns for months, and when finały he let his frustration come out, my daughter was terminated from nursery! This place is a joke! They care more about how place looks like instead of focus on child care services! Since manager changed I noticed downfall in care and how issues are taken care of. Manager is not serious herself. She arranged meeting with me to talk about concerns I have and she simply didn’t showed up, giving excuse as an emergency. She could at least message or so. Next time she saw me at nursery, she didn’t even acknowledge me. After I send formal complaint to head office she wanted to talk to me. Dont bring your kids here! They won’t receive service you pay for! I have witnessed one parent complaining to that manager about not being informed that her son had an accident, and all she heared from staff was a a mountain of lies and excuses! Same happened to me to me. Be careful!

Since my daughter started preschool, I can’t express enough how grateful I am to the wonderful staff for making her settling-in period and first week such a brilliant experience. Every morning she walks into nursery with her mum excited and full of stories — talking about the caterpillar on the floor, everything she’s done during the day, and all the fun activities she’s been involved in. The staff in her room are friendly, approachable, and always happy to help whenever I need to reach out. I love that the app is updated daily with her learning, meals, and highlights of her day — it’s so reassuring and lovely to see. The nursery garden is amazing: huge, well-designed, and full of exciting areas such as a gardening section to grow plants, a massive mud kitchen, a beautiful water tray, and tyres for the children to jump in. The food variety is always appealing and sounds delicious — and from what I’ve seen during her settling-in sessions, it certainly looks it too. The management team are fantastic, and the nursery is always clean and well-kept. I honestly cannot fault this nursery at all. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and engaging environment for their child.

My experience with Little Elms Sydenham has been very disappointing, particularly during my twins’ transition into the toddler room. The whole process felt disorganized and lacked the level of communication and care I expected. I often feel that staff are not paying close enough attention to how the twins are adjusting, and I have to chase updates rather than receiving them proactively. Another concern for me was that the twins do not seem to be changed as frequently as I would have expected. There are several occasions when I picked them up and felt their nappies should have been changed more recently. Additionally, the app — which is supposed to keep parents informed — was often not updated, leaving me unsure about how their day had actually gone. Overall, the level of attention, consistency, and communication during this period left me worried. I would strongly encourage other parents to ask very detailed questions about transitions, nappy-change routines, and how reliably the app is maintained before deciding to enrol.

My child will be going off to reception soon and I know she’ll be ready when that time comes and I have to thank Little Elms Sydenham team for the huge part they’ve played in our lives. I was worried about my child’s speech when we first started and after a few months she had progressed too much. That already showed me the care and effort they put in for each child to hit all their milestones. I love the fact that they have events for all parents/ careers and children to really involve us, gives such a homely feel to the setting. Communication is 10/10, the staff are amazing and couldn’t have met a better management team. Will truly be missed when we leave
