How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive superb support. The passionate and knowledgeable leaders and staff build excellent relationships with parents and external professionals to support children to achieve positive outcomes. They have individualised plans for children with SEND that staff frequently review and discuss with parents.

Outdoor space

Children delight in being outdoors and use this area well. For example, children are provided with excellent opportunities to help develop their physical and exploratory skills. When engaging in an outdoor game, all children take a turn to choose a 'silly', 'runner' or a 'jumping' bean to indicate an action, enhancing their physical and social development.

Both my children Sylvie & Niall attend after school club Weekly with Little Explorers. And I cannot thank the dedicate team enough, it’s hard enough having to work long hours and leave your children. But little explorers really go above and beyond, both my children have so much fun and usually don’t want to leave when we collect them. It really helps knowing they are loved, and safe and having so much fun. Thank you to all of you for your hard work and care you give our children. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My eldest daughter attended Little Explorers for 2 years before going to school and loved it and my youngest daughter still goes to Little Explorers and loves the team that look after her. After visiting other nurseries in Wombwell, we're very happy we went with Little Explorers.

Amazing nursery, fantastic staff. Very creative indoor and outdoor spaces for children to explore. Lots of additional support available for parents when needed. Glad I chose Little Explorers for my little explorer!
