How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff quickly identify any children that need additional help and, in close liaison with the special educational needs coordinator (SENCo), provide targeted support to help children make progress. Staff learn sign language to further support those children who are less able to communicate verbally.

Outdoor space

Children have many opportunities to develop their physical skills and spend much of their time outside, where they make independent choices about their play. Children develop good coordination as they practise their balancing and jumping and enjoy sand and water play.

Both my girls 12 and 4 have attended here. They have both always loved it and looked forward to going.Mrs forest,Michelle and all the staff are so caring and passionate and put so much effort into all the things they do for the children.A lot of the staff have been there a long time so are very experienced too.its great value and they’ve always helped when I’ve needed cover in the holidays.you also get 4 weeks holiday to take where you don’t pay which is amazing for parents as it’s already expensive to go away these days never mind factoring in childcare costs too! Two very happy children and a super grateful mummy 💙💜🤩

Our daughter started attending during lockdown, so we couldn’t spend the first taster with her. She was obviously confused and upset. But the staff were brilliant with her. They reassured her each time she was dropped off, and when picking her up they explained how she had been and what she had done. She at first didn’t sleep at nursery, but she very quickly relaxed and was soon sleeping for almost an hour each visit. Overall, the team were really friendly and kind to our daughter. We could see the change in her in a matter of days. She quickly started interacting more and was obviously very comfortable with the staff. I really love the regular updates via the parents app, photos of our daughter playing and interacting, details of what she has eaten and the things she has done from a development perspective. The food she was eating was really nice and healthy. Lots of fruit and vegetables. And was really well thought out, so as to prevent boredom by the children. Thoroughly recommend this lovely local nursery.
