About this day nursery

Little Gems Day Nursery operates from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, for 51 weeks of the year, providing a consistent and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years. The nursery places a strong emphasis on children's emotional well-being, a principle firmly embedded in their daily practices.

They have thoughtfully adapted routines, including handover times, to cater to the individual emotional needs of each child, especially in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Leaders and staff hold ambitious expectations for all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).

They meticulously analyse what children already know and pinpoint their next learning steps. Working in close partnership with parents and carers, they develop tailored learning plans to ensure every child has access to their early education.

Amazing Nursery. I moved my son from a nursery closer to our house to this one and I do not regret it. I have two toddlers, one who is 2 and one who is 3 (with Down Syndrome). The staff here are amazing for both my child with additional needs and my child without. The level of care they show here is unmatched. I get sufficient updates throughout the day and wish everyone had a nursery as amazing as this!
