Inclusion & environment
Staff swiftly identify children who require additional help or children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and make referrals for support, with parental consent. Since the last inspection, staff have made links with the local authority's SEND support team and use strategies to support children's attention, listening skills, and communication, ensuring good or better progress.
Older children independently prepare for outside play by collecting and putting on their shoes.
We’ve had such a wonderful experience with this nursery. The staff are genuinely caring and take the time to get to know each child as an individual, which has made a huge difference to our little one’s confidence and happiness. One thing I really appreciate is how prompt and consistent the updates are on the app — it gives me real peace of mind throughout the day to see how my child is getting on. I also want to say a heartfelt thank-you for the support Rajvind gave us during a recent personal situation. Their understanding, flexibility, and kindness meant more than they know, and we’re truly grateful. Highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a nurturing and supportive environment. Special thanks to Dana and Madison who made a difference every day!
Read on GoogleWe have two children at the nursery - one in the preschool room and one in the baby room - and we honestly couldn’t be happier. The team’s approach to learning and development is fantastic, and the smaller room sizes make such a difference. It means the key workers really get to know each child and their little personalities, which is so special. The whole place has such a lovely, home-from-home feel, and it’s clear that every member of staff truly cares for the children like their own. My return to work was made so much easier knowing our youngest settled in so quickly - within the first week! We’re so grateful to have found this nursery and couldn’t recommend it more highly.
Read on GoogleWe have 2 children at little giants across the baby and toddler/preschool room and both children love going to nursery every morning. They have grown so much in confidence and our older boy is always coming home with lots he has learnt. The staff are excellent and know the children very well and therefore able to offer excellent care. The rooms are kept tidy and clean and there is a good range of food for lunch.
Read on GoogleI'd highly recommend Little Giants Nursery, my little one loves it and has come on leaps and bounds since starting there! The parent app is also updated in a very timely manner so you're always in the know of what is happening and what your child is getting up to.
Read on GoogleI paid a £150 deposit to enrol my child at this nursery. When completing the application, it was not stated anywhere that this fee was non-refundable. Upon requesting a refund, I was told this fee wasn’t a deposit at all, but simply a payment to enrol my child. Other staff had previously referred to it as a “deposit,” so I was understandably confused. Parents’ situations change, and nurseries should be understanding of this rather than penalising families who are trying to do the right thing. I found this approach unfair and disappointing.
