About this day nursery

30 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, closing only for one week at Christmas and on bank holidays. This Bristol-based nursery provides childcare for children aged 0-4 years.

The staff are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment, spending ample time with families to ensure a smooth settling-in process and to gain a comprehensive understanding of each child's individual needs, including specific routines for babies and support requirements for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). " Recent enhancements to the provision mean all children, including babies, benefit from secure and free access to outdoor learning spaces, encouraging physical activity and development.

The curriculum is ambitious, promoting independence and a positive attitude towards learning, with a strong focus on communication and language skills, which are consistently well-implemented by staff. The provider also successfully targets funding to ensure it has the greatest impact on children's development.

Outdoor space

Recent changes to the provision ensure all children, including babies, have secure, free access to the outdoors. This enables them to learn where they prefer to and be physically active, developing physical skills like strengthening legs for walking, control and coordination in ride-in cars, and muscle development and confidence in water through swimming.
