Little Harvards Day Nursery is part of the Precious Little Ones group, which prioritises parental engagement and offers a supportive environment through various childcare policies, free settling-in sessions, and a key worker system. The nursery is open Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, excluding public bank holidays and one week over Christmas.
They provide comprehensive care, including wrap-around services for children attending Holy Spirit Primary School and Broad Oak Primary School, extending until the end of reception year, though these places are subject to availability. The nursery also participates in government funding schemes, offering 15 hours of free nursery care for three and four-year-olds during term time, and 30-hour funded places for working parents.
Additional voluntary charges apply for essential extras such as meals, snacks, wipes, sun cream, extra hours, and trips, as these are not covered by government funding. Parents can opt for their child to bring a packed lunch.
Flexible payment options are available, with fees payable weekly or monthly, preferably via Direct Debit or Standing Order, in advance.

The experienced special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) is passionate about supporting children with SEND. She has formed positive relationships with a range of agencies and works hard to remove barriers to learning and ensures that no child is at a disadvantage.
Outdoor space
Older children are extremely adventurous in their physical play. They confidently slide down poles and use tree swings. Children develop excellent physical skills. The manager and the inspector carried out a joint observation of a group activity outdoors.

My twins love it here, staff are amazing with the children and any help needed from parents, always willing to help and be flexible in anyway they can My little boy is SEN they do everything they can for him Any accidents are dealt with quickly and efficiently!

My my oldest son attended little harvards 10 years ago, the staff was absolutely amazing with him, so kind and caring as he was nervous about leaving mummy, My 3 year old son was due to start nursery 2023 and the obvious place I wanted him to attend was little harvards, he absolutely loves his time in nursery, he has wonderful relationships with all the staff, knows all there names and each morning can’t wait to go in. The time, care and attention is second to none this is a wonderful nursery and both my children have thrived from there start in education at little Harvard’s Special thank you to all the amazing staff
