About this day nursery

Little Kingdom Nursery, established in 2019, provides a good standard of care and education for children aged 2 to 4 years. Open Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm during term-time, the nursery offers a welcoming environment where children develop warm and trusting relationships with kind and caring staff.

The manager has designed a broad and balanced curriculum that builds on children's existing knowledge and caters to their individual needs and interests. Children are encouraged to become independent learners, making choices in their play and helping with tidying.

Daily outdoor play is a key feature, allowing children to practice physical skills through climbing, balancing, jumping, and riding bicycles. Staff ensure plenty of opportunities for physical activity, both indoors and outdoors, and teach children to make healthy choices regarding exercise.

The nursery has high expectations for all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Children with SEND receive strong support as staff collaborate with other professionals involved in their care and learning, leading to good progress for all.

Speech and language development is a priority, with staff effectively modelling language and introducing new words during engaging sensory activities. Parents consistently express satisfaction with the care and education their children receive, praising the variety of exciting activities and finding the home learning packs beneficial in continuing their child's development at home.

My son has been attending this nursery for almost a year. He has special needs and can be quite a challenge to look after. The care and service they give my son is incredible. They know him so well. We feel at ease leaving him there and we know that he is being looked after well. We have seen a difference in his behaviour as well as his learning. He has made excellent progress since starting Little Kingdom. Thank you to everyone at Little Kingdom.

Little Kingdom was a second home for my child, and the staff were like family. Today was his last day at the nursery, and they went out of their way to make it a special graduation day. The staff at Little Kingdom are incredibly kind and attentive. They consistently provided us with feedback and updates on our child’s progress, ensuring we were always informed. Their professionalism is unparalleled, and they always understood the challenges our child faced, putting in place provisions to support him. Every child at Little Kingdom is treated with the utmost care. The routine they provide helps kids grow and develop new skills. We are immensely grateful for the love, care, and dedication shown to our child. Thank you, Little Kingdom, for being such an important part of our child’s early years.
