Little Larks Day Nursery is a private day nursery and pre-school located in a beautiful countryside setting near Nowton Park, Bury St Edmunds. The nursery is registered to care for up to 70 children, ranging from three months old up to the September following their fourth birthday.
Open 51 weeks a year, from 8 am to 6 pm, Little Larks is conveniently situated off the A134, making it accessible for families in surrounding villages and those commuting from further afield. The nursery boasts large, bright, and spacious rooms filled with age-appropriate toys and resources designed to foster individual needs, choice, and independent learning.
A significant feature is the extensive garden and outdoor learning environment, offering free-flow access from the rooms. Children can explore a "bug hotel," engage in a mud kitchen, climb trees, and participate in construction play.
Regular walks to discover local footpaths and visits to Nowton Park for activities like feeding ducks are also part of the children's experiences. The onsite kitchen holds a 5-star food hygiene rating, and children are encouraged to grow their own fruit and vegetables, which are then used by the chef to prepare healthy snacks and meals daily.
Little Larks emphasises strong parent partnerships, with each child assigned a key person to ensure a secure bond and support their learning journey. Parents can access information about their child's day through the Blossom Parents App.
