Little Learners Day Nursery Ltd, established in 2023, provides childcare for children aged 1 to 4 years during term-time. Open from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, the nursery is located in Leicester, LE5 4ES, and received a Good rating at its latest Ofsted inspection on 11th June 2025.

Children are met with a warm welcome and quickly settle into the nursery environment. The dedicated staff team are excellent role models, promoting kindness and respect among the children.

An interesting outdoor environment is planned, encouraging physical development as children navigate play equipment and cooperate in games like see-saw and parachute play. Indoors, staff provide opportunities to develop fine motor skills through activities such as card making and playdough manipulation, helping to prepare children for early writing.

The curriculum is broad and balanced, planned using children's assessments and interests, though staff are working to implement it more precisely during free play to ensure all children have purposeful learning experiences. Parents consistently give positive feedback, highlighting good communication and a strong sense of safety for their children.

Leaders and managers actively build relationships with the local community, offering stay-and-play sessions and access to food parcels. Children are encouraged to be independent, actively participating in daily routines like choosing activities and serving themselves at mealtimes, and are supported in understanding good dental hygiene and healthy eating choices.

What it's like

Children happily enter the setting and receive a welcome hug. Staff provide an interesting outdoor environment and motivate children to cooperate and practise balancing skills. Staff are also excellent role models, showing respect to each other and the children.
