Our ethos
When children are asked “What were you doing at nursery today?” often the reply is “I was playing!” That is exactly what the children have been doing. However, there is more to play than meets the eye! Play is natural to the children and is the means by which they learn. Through play children learn new skills, develop new interests and encounter new experiences.

How they support every child
SEND provision
An ambitious curriculum and excellent programmes of support mean that all children, including those with special educational needs (SEN), progress well across all areas of the curriculum. Support for children with SEN is strong. Effective assessment of children's knowledge and skills, in collaboration with parents, means children's needs are very well understood. Leaders act swiftly to secure involvement from relevant professionals and to implement programmes of support. With close oversight from those leading on the support for SEN children, and a dedicated staff team, children with SEN make progress in their learning.
Outdoor space
Outdoor learning is at the heart of this nursery. Even the youngest children learn to take appropriate risks as they navigate the array of climbing equipment outside. Older children develop specific skills as they spend full-day sessions at the beach school.

My child absolutely loves going here. The staff are kind, attentive and clearly enjoy what they do. They do a wide range of stimulating and developmentally supportive activities with the children, and are also clearly always open to seeing what else they can learn. They're always willing to talk about any concerns you may have with your child, and are invested in parent and child wellbeing. Because of this we have decided to keep our child in this setting until she is ready for school. Thank you Kay and the whole team!

I was asked to take my little girl to look around and I was made believe they had plenty of place's for her year, so I messaged them numerous times to be ignored, I finally had a response today saying sorry they are full for next year . Now I can't get her another placement due to the lack of communication from this school.

My child was never happy in this setting. It’s overcrowded and most of the staff doesn’t really care about the kids. Glad my child is out of this place!
