Our ethos

By working in partnership with parents, we aim to provide a stimulating, challenging environment which is a heartfelt, welcoming extension of home. Children can explore, have fun, play, talk and learn together. We aim to raise the cultural capital in our children by providing them with enriching experiences to become independent individuals within our community.

What it's like to attend

Children are happy and settled in the welcoming environment created by staff. They have close bonds with all staff and other children from when they start at the setting. Children know the routines of the day and how staff expect them to behave, exhibiting excellent manners.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff know their key children well and use this knowledge to meet their care needs, including those with complex medical needs and special educational needs and/or disabilities. The pre-school supports children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.

Outdoor space

Staff praise children as they cut different vegetables ready to make soup on the outdoor fire pit. Staff provide pieces of paper on the floor and encourage children to use large movements, developing their arm muscles, when they want to create further paintings.

My Daughter Lily leaves Pre School tomorrow as she starts Reception next week and honestly we are all really sad that she will be leaving! I moved my daughters from another local nursery about a year ago, one started at the Pre School and one started at the nursery and I have no regrets. All the staff have been fantastic with both my girls, they have gone above and beyond to support them and they thrived since being in their setting. My girls have built secure bonds with staff and often come home talking about them. Kirsty the Manager for Pre School is amazing, she goes above and beyond. Huge thank you to you all staff especially Kirsty, Aston and Sophie who Lily will miss immensely. xx
