Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders and staff swiftly identify gaps in children's learning and ensure that all children, especially those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, receive tailored support. They plan individual-focused activities for children to help them make steps in their learning. Staff work closely with leaders to allocate additional funding and agree on how to spend it. For example, staff have created a sensory area and use sensory stimulating resources to re-engage children and help them focus during planned activities.

Outdoor space

Outside, staff follow older children's interest in water play. They support children in understanding capacity as they model how to fill and empty containers with water and measure different quantities.

We absolutely love this nursery and are so glad we made the decision to move here from another one which didn’t feel like the right fit for us. My baby is very attached to me so settling was something I worried about but she has done really well thanks to how warm, welcoming, and supportive the staff have been. The baby room is especially lovely, cozy, calm, and genuinely homely. All the staff are wonderful, but I’m particularly grateful to Laura and Rachael, who have been so understanding of my worries as a first-time mum and consistently kind, considerate, and responsive.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I love this nursery. Our second born attends once a week. He took a while to settle in, but he now loves going to Little Leprechauns. The staff are so friendly and very welcoming. When we pick him up, the staff really make an effort to share our boy’s day with us, you can tell they really care. We wished we have send our first born here! I have recommended this nursery to other parents.

My children were relatively happy at this nursery but I found lot of the time I was called to say they were sick because they had a * spot* on their hand or loose stools when in fact they had been fed fruit all day.Unfortunately I could not recommend this nursery on this basis as I don't think they are consistent in their care. We have since moved to another nursery and instead of being told we have * sickly children* unsurprisingly we have children we are well and only called when they genuinely need some additional care.

This is a great nursery, our daughter loves coming here, the staff have made her feel so welcome and have accommodated our needs really well, we couldn't have asked for more. We feel included in her development and she really has come on leaps and bounds since starting. The staff have made us feel at ease leaving her in their care and we know she is happy and well looked after whilst there. Thank you Little Leprechauns.

Can’t recommend this nursery enough, my little girl has come on so much since starting last year, especially in her confidence. All the girls that work there are absolutely amazing at what they do and I wouldn’t trust anywhere else sending my daughter, she always comes home and tells me about the little things she’s done! Will be sad when she moves to reception in in a few year!
