Little Monkey's Nursery Windsor Park is a private day care nursery situated on St Leonard's Road, Windsor. The nursery operates across two properties located on a secure site; the main building accommodates babies and toddlers, while a spacious, purpose-built wooden cabin hosts the pre-school.
Its convenient location provides easy access to local towns and cities via the M4, and Windsor Town Centre offers direct train travel into London. The nursery aims to provide a secure and happy environment where children learn through play, incorporating all seven areas of learning into their Early Years curriculum with a focus on stimulating activities.
They pride themselves on unique educational experiences such as 'Wake up and shake up', a cookery station, community visits, and bespoke activities like Emotions Boxes and Chatterboxes to promote well-being and confidence. A key person system ensures each child feels secure, cared for, and confident in the nursery environment, with their progress monitored against Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards, and holistic records provided to parents upon leaving.

Inclusion & environment
Those with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported effectively by their knowledgeable key person. Staff work in partnership with other professionals to share information about children's development in order to help them make good progress.
All children access a large, well-maintained garden. Staff regularly complete visual risk assessments of the indoors and outside. Managers have ensured robust procedures are followed to ensure children's safety when moving from the garden area back inside the nursery.
My daughter loved the Baby Room (under 2s) across the last year. She has developed so much from going to Little Monkeys 2.5 days a week. The staff are friendly and because it's a small nursery a lot of staff know who your child is and what they are like. Every day I get an update on what my daughter has done and how she has been as well as photos and comments on the app. I looked around 5 nursery's before deciding on LMs and this was by far the best for us; great facilities, learning/playing structure, clean, great garden/outdoor playing. Highly recommend.
Read on GoogleI must apologise. I feel utterly remiss for not posting sooner. My son came to this nursery with minimal speech and social experience due to Lockdown and AN AWFUL experience at Bright Horizons. Little Monkeys was a MASSIVE turning point. He was showered with love, support and guidance. He thrived there and is now enjoying school due to the support Jacqui and the team offered him, particularly as he is special needs. I would suggest Little Monkeys Windsor to anybody looking for a home away from home for their little ones.
Read on GoogleI cannot fault this nursery and pre-school so far. My daughters have recently joined in the baby room and the pre-school and all of the staff are just so wonderfully kind, caring and friendly. The facilities are lovely and surpass those at other similar places I have seen but the real difference and USP for this nursery is the fantastic atmosphere created by its people. The children (especially in the pre-school where they interact more due to their age) are such lovely children who are helping my daughter to feel welcome and to fit in. The teachers in both rooms take the time to fill us in on the girls’ days and to genuinely listen to and accommodate whatever we have asked for our children. Thank you all so much for everything you have done so far!
Read on GoogleI visited this nursery met with the manager and wanted my son to start, I have asked her three times to give me a registration form. From meeting face to face she said she will email me forms rather than handing it over. I rang the next day and said politely I am still waiting, again she did not send it, I rang again still nothing. All together three times I have asked for over four days so I could place my son into the nursery. It felt like I was deliberately ignored...i am black and my wife is asian, I only hope this had nothing to do with it but I have wondered why upon asking over three times I have been totally avoided. This nursery is white oriented and we now feel completely isolated and unwanted wondering why us. Till today no one has rang and tried to correct their mistakes or sincerely apologise, absolutely appalled.
Read on GoogleAmazing nursery, with very friendly staff. My daughter loved her time at Little Monkeys. Thank you for everything.
