Inclusion & environment
Staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) effectively. They work closely with parents and other professionals to meet the needs of the children, using strategies to aid communication, such as showing a nappy as a reference to ease transition for nappy changes.
Children learn to be physically strong. They swing on a swing and climb up a climbing wall. They develop core strength as they pull themselves up and go down the other side. Toddlers use large chalks on a board outside, gripping them securely to draw lines.
My little girl has been going to Little Ones for 16 months and she absolutely adores it there. Little Ones is more than just a nursery, they are extended family. The staff always go above and beyond in their care and this is reflected in how happy all the children are. They do varied activities daily and the children learn through play. All year round the children are outside regardless of the weather. My daughter has developed so much under their care and runs off every morning with a smile on her face.
Read on GoogleWould highly recommend this little nursery. The staff are amazing at what they do and they really do love and care for the children as if they were theirs. Our daughter has come a really long way since joining the nursery & looks forward to each day she spends there. Perfect little area - wonderful little play and garden area too! Homecooked meals with a menu rolling over 4 weeks, so it's not the same every day! Just an all round, warm and friendly nursery :)
Read on GoogleOur daughter has been at Little Ones since she was 10 months old and in September starts her new journey into school. She has loved every minute of nursery life, from cuddles and care she receives from every member of staff to the exciting activities she gets to play with on a daily basis and the most amazing home cooked food that is prepared freshly on site by the lovely cook. As parents we go off to work knowing that our daughter is being cared for by amazing people who look after her just as we would at home.
Read on GoogleLittle Ones are incredible. All 3 of my children currently attend Little Ones. The eldest started about 16 months ago then the other two started when I went back to work full time last year. All the staff having been truly amazing throughout our journey at Little Ones - not only the staff in the nursery itself but also Katie and the office team. All 3 of our children absolutely love going everyday. The love, care and nuture they provide to our children everyday is exceptional. The children are coming home everyday, having done a variety of activities that are fun and engaging. As well as being well fed with lots of yummy, healthy food. Little Ones always go above and beyond. Especially during this difficult time with Covid-19, the have excelled themselves to support us, enabling both myself and my partner, who are key workers, to remain at work and know that are children are in safe hands. THANK YOU to EVERYONE that is part of the Little Ones team. We would be lost without you ❤
