Little Pals Nursery operates from two locations in Clacton-on-Sea, providing quality education and care. The main Tendring Education Centre site is open Monday to Friday, 7:45 am to 6 pm, for 50 weeks a year.

A second preschool, Little Pals Pre-School at Hemmington House in Jaywick, runs term-time only from 9 am to 3:30 pm. Both settings prioritise daily outdoor play to support children's learning, development, and physical health.

The nursery also emphasises home-cooked meals, prepared daily by a dedicated cook, with menus available and dietary requirements catered for. Little Pals extends its community involvement by offering various groups for families, such as Toddler Group, Baby Massage, and Baby Sensory.

Outdoor space

Following a session of outdoor learning, staff teach children new vocabulary like 'mollusc' when researching slugs. Younger children also enjoy additional garden and physical play time while older children listen to a story together. The manager is aware that there are fewer opportunities for children to explore mathematics in the garden.
