Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs/and or disabilities are supported well. Staff quickly identify if a child needs support and are quick to respond to their needs. Staff work with a range of professionals, such as portage workers and health visitors, to support children's unique needs. This means that partnerships positively impact on children's education and well-being.
Children access the outdoors every day, where they build their physical skills. For example, children use tyres and planks of wood to build bridges and balance across them.
When i took my child there last year at first it seemed really nice while walking around, warm, lots of toys, some fish, an outdoor area and they were talking about an individual learning plan etc but they said in the contract that they provided nappies but they asked us to bring our own when my child started. So i did start taking nappies for her anyway. My child was unhappy there and i often found her on her own jumping into my arms every time i picked her up from there, no stimulation or friends and cried when i mentioned going to nursery so i was starting to guess something wasnt quite right but i wasnt sure if she was just struggling with being apart so she kept going then they lost her hat in the middle of winter so she had to be cold which i didnt mind as much , but they called us to pick her up because she had 3 poos in 2 days so i had to leave work because she poo'd, which children do. And according to the timing of the poos one was just a poo she continued. She was healthy laughing and jumping and everything not ill at all and they were handing her over to us right in front of the other children like being shamed, and when we complained about the whole situation rather than apologising or being professional they started shouting at us saying 'you know what to do', right in front of the other children. so we did. And took her out that day. Appalling behaviour. Id hate to hear about my child being surrounded by that kind of attitude. we tried to leave a bad review on their facebook site to warn other people and they removed it and blocked us. I dont know if there have been changes since then but that was my experience.
