Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and those who speak English as an additional language make excellent progress in relation to their individual starting points.
Babies easily access resources to help them stand and walk unaided. Older children run, climb, and chase each other in the rain, splashing in puddles and whizzing down the wet slide. Trips to the setting's 'Forest School' site fully ignite the children's imagination and curiosity.
All 4 of my children have attended little tots. I cannot express enough how much we love this nursery. Every member of staff is amazing and work so hard in nurturing and caring for the children. Communication between the nursery and the parents I feel is outstanding. Management always made us feel welcome if you wished to discuss/ask anything. The opportunities that were presented to the children were amazing and all my children thrived in their care. I would 100% recommend this nursery setting.
Read on GoogleThe best nursery out there! We sent both our children here. The staff are so wonderful and you can tell that they genuinely care for the children. They put so much thought into daily activities, they even brought in caterpillars on several occasions so that children can observe lifecycles, there's weekly forest school and generally they do lots of practical skills outdoors and indoors throughout the day. They always asked about our little one's nap schedule so they can replicate it at the nursery, which was lovely. Children are enabled to be independent within the nursery as everything that's safe for them is on their level, even the water tap for older children so they can help themselves to a drink whenever they need it. Our little one struggled with transitions and the staff helped her so much, even when that meant they held her in their arms for an hour or two. We always had plenty of notice if there was anything out of the ordinary, sometimes that meant small things like different activities such as face painting where they asked permission for our child to have one. Overall, we always felt safe leaving our little ones there and they thrived.
Read on GoogleAbsolutely amazing nursery that both my children attended. The staff are wonderful and my son and daughter loved going to nursery. There were so many different opportunities for them, they enjoyed Forest School, yoga and cooking. It was sad when they left but I knew that Little Tots had prepared them for their next journey and the new adventures of school. Thank you ☺️
Read on GooglePoor rating given with a huge regret after having to take out little one out of Stoney Heath. No hot water (not mentioned beforehand) absolutely rigid meal times causing our child to be hungry most of the time while at the nursery (Montessori?), very frequent 'come pick your child up early on Fridays' calls, and finally a incident that resulted in a visit to A&E department in Basingstoke with suspected concussion as diagnosis, that has been conveniently discussed with the use of 'Head Bump' form when our boybwas picked up. Apparently our child tripped and fell face first onto a corner of a table. Now he has a scar for life on his lower lip, nevermind a weekend of vomitting due to the head concussion. Well done nursery.
Read on GoogleAn amazing place in every sense. We send both our sons here , and they just love it. Everytime we pick them up, they are so happy and smiley, and particularly love forest school. The staff are so professional and caring and treat our boys like family.
