Little Waves Day Nursery, established in 2016, provides childcare from Monday to Friday, all year round, from 8am until 6pm, for children aged between 2 and 4 years. The all-year setting, which received a 'Good' rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 26th September 2024, focuses on a balanced curriculum tailored to children's interests, ensuring they are happy, confident, and eager to participate in activities.

The nursery places a strong emphasis on developing independence, with staff supporting children in tasks such as putting on their wetsuits and wellingtons for outdoor play, fostering a sense of pride in their accomplishments. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are extremely well supported through collaborative efforts with external agencies and parents.

Staff create individualised plans and offer regular meetings and support for parents through the referral process, using visual aids in the nursery and at home to enhance understanding. SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are extremely well supported. Outdoor space
