The special educational needs coordinator is passionate about her role and knowledgeable about prioritising children's individual needs. She works confidently with external agencies and has implemented effective strategies to provide early intervention where required, including for children in receipt of additional funding like early years pupil premium, which has successfully supported communication and language development.
Children have plenty of opportunities to play outside, with each age group having their own garden area. In addition, children learn to balance and climb in a large grassed area, and staff teach them about keeping themselves safe outdoors, such as pre-school children carrying out risk assessments.
Went for a look round with our toddler all seemed promising, however we were told they would get back to us to arrange a his start date. We chased them up 3-4 times and each time we were fobbed off. So in the end we got sick of waiting so registered with a new nursery. Very disappointed in little pioneers Seaham
Read on GoogleDaughter did not even attend the nursery we went for a look around and asked about our 30hrs free she told us the code was not valid and she would not be able to start until next year. We tried another nursery and it was valid so not sure as to why they lied about it. Maybe they were to understaffed so brushed it off till next year 🤷🏼♀️
Read on GoogleNot a good experience, lack of communication and people skills. Daughter came home with nasty bruises, one on stomach which wasn't mentioned. No-one to greet you at the door when you drop or pick up child, they leave you standing around waiting. One staff member was rude and very unprofessional. Pulled my daughter out and now is at another nursery and the experience is much better. I hope that improvements will be made to deal with the issues brought up, the manager of the company which contacted us said it will be investigated so things may be better now.
Read on GoogleMy daughter went here for almost the first 3 years of her life she left today and i cant reccomend them enough fantastic staff we have seen such a change over the time my daughter was there into such a confident young girl
