Inclusion & environment
Managers and staff are overwhelmingly committed to removing barriers that children face in learning. Staff complete thorough assessments of children's development. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive focused and personalised support to help them succeed. Managers have created exceptional links with external professionals and swiftly put interventions in place to ensure all children make excellent progress.
Children, with adult support, serve snacks and meals and put on their coats for outdoor play. Children enjoy playing outdoors, where they access plenty of fresh air and exercise. Babies and young children enjoy the climbing frame and the slopes in the outdoor area. Regular movement sessions and obstacle courses help children to develop their large muscles and their stamina. Children enjoy the time spent outdoors and being physically active.
My son went to Little world from 8 months to 5 years, now my baby girl attends. It is by far the best nursery and outstanding in all areas. Due to it being council led and a charity its run properley with the children's care and attainment at the heart of everything they do. They supported me throughout being a first time mum and lots of other barriers I faced. They are now doing it again and I can't fault them. The staff really love the kids here and that's reflected by the staff team not changing. My baby has the same key workers my son had from 11 years ago, that speaks for it self. The nursery nurses are qualified and knowledgeable about attachment and have a diverse group of children. Unlike all the businesses now that are mostly about making money and will cut costs and risk safety to benefit profit. Who ever rates poorly on here please don't believe them!
Read on GoogleThe most perfect nursery. I have loved watching my children grow and learn under the care of little world. My children have the best relationships with the staff members and other children who go here. The staff are amazing and are truly so caring. I couldn't imagine sending my children anywhere else and I cant reccomend this nursery enough.
Read on GoogleVery good
Read on GoogleCan't believe I haven't reviewed this nursery yet! This is THE BEST nursery of all time and it's a council one so affordable and includes food and everything, the staff are amazing which is why it's outstanding , this place has a huge part of my heart and gave both my children who are (10 years a part) THE BEST start in life , A. Warning .... Its hard to get a place here as it's outstanding and the council so ethical unlike all these private ones charging extortionate prices charging extra for everything! The facilities are also good and I think both my kids loved the smaller environment, it's cost and the staff genuinely love the kids, even when they are being little terrors and you get called in ., what prompted this review was finding both my kids big manualas of all their achievements and memories x I will keep them forever I also love that they celebrate all different religions, faiths and cultures and it's connected to the Chinese community, diversity is great for kids development and it's educational to learn about different backgrounds and having friends from different backgrounds. .. it's a shame the real world isn't like that , if it was the word -PEACE -springs to mind , ...we can dream !
