Loddon Nursery School, led by Director Jayne White since 1993, provides exceptional care and education for children aged 0-5. " This approach emphasises a calm, natural environment with open-ended resources to spark imagination and learning.
The nursery is divided into three rooms: the Ladybird Room for babies aged 0-2, offering a nurturing "home from home" experience; the Caterpillar Room for 2 to early 3-year-olds, providing a spacious environment for independence and exploration; and the Butterfly Room for children preparing for school, encouraging independent learning and critical thinking. The outdoor space is a natural wonderland with various resources, a sensory path, mud kitchen, and construction area, allowing children to freely explore indoors and out.

Inclusion & environment
Leaders and staff provide a highly inclusive environment where all children are individually valued. They work extremely closely with parents and other agencies, such as health professionals, to make sure that children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, receive the support they need to help them be successful learners.
Children explore the carefully planned indoor and outdoor spaces, which are expertly designed to ignite their interests and inspire their learning. For example, children eagerly point out and talk about the 'rainbow' they can see as the sunlight reflects on a mirror outside.
