Thurlton Pre School is a term-time setting in Norwich for children aged two to four. It operates on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 3.30pm. The pre-school accepts government funding for two, three and four-year-olds, as well as tax-free childcare.
Ofsted inspected the pre-school in December 2023 and gave it an overall judgement of Good. The inspector noted that children make good progress with a broad curriculum and develop their fine motor skills in preparation for writing. Children were observed to have close relationships with staff, who engage them in activities to improve balance and coordination. The report found that children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are very well supported, with staff using strategies such as sign language and visual prompts. Parents told the inspector that staff are kind and approachable.
