Our ethos
Lodge Farm Nursery School offers a distinctive early years education experience, operating from beautifully extended farm buildings on a working farm, with ample safe outdoor space including an outdoor classroom and a dedicated woodland/Forest School area. Daily Forest School sessions are led by a qualified practitioner, ensuring children have opportunities for outdoor exploration regardless of the weather. The nursery prioritises a nurturing, homely environment where children can thrive and develop.

Staff know children very well as individuals and quickly spot changes, putting tailored support in place that makes a tangible difference.
Children's curiosity is nurtured through rich outdoor experiences. They delight in potion making, smelling lavender and mixing ingredients, or squelching through mud as they learn about the working farm around them. They explore different grains grown on site and create their own games, such as drawing hopscotch grids and testing out their ideas.
Our child has attended Lodge Farm since he was little - from Ladybirds to Hedgehogs to Squirrels to Acorns. The staff are incredibly caring and the quality of service outstanding.
