Longhorsley Explorers Community Interest Company, established in November 2000, offers childcare for children from birth up to 9 years old. Situated in the village hall, the nursery is operated by qualified childcare practitioners who are all DBS checked and hold current Paediatric First Aid Certificates.

Children have plenty of opportunities for fresh air and exercise, for example, as they dig in the allotment or play in the park. Children in the after-school club ask to go to the park or play in the hard court.
