Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are supported well by staff. For example, staff read stories to children about monsters that show different colours for their feelings, helping them to understand their emotions. Close partnership working with other professionals helps staff to identify and support children's individual needs, particularly those children with SEND. Robust systems are in place to monitor and support children's development.

Outdoor space

Staff provide opportunities for children to learn how healthy food grows. For example, they take older children to an allotment where they learn how to plant vegetables. This is further promoted when children plant vegetables and flowers in the nursery garden.

Our Son has been attending Luans for coming up to 2 years. Throughout his time there he has received excellent care and support with his needs. He has formed meaningful relationships with the staff there and they have really helped his development and learning. He simply loves it there! There is always an open line of communication between the staff and parents and have always had time to listen if I had any worries. I personally would recommend this nursery to anyone!! Keep up the good work Ladies!!

My grandson has attended Luan's for over 2 years and always looks forward to his nursery days.I collect him regularly and as a qualified Nursery Nurse I take a keen interest in what he has been doing during the day and the variety of activities and opportunities he has had the opportunity to experience. He always comes out beaming and happy. The staff are lovely and welcoming and my grandson has made excellent progress whilst he has been in their care. The nursery also encourages the children to take part in charity events to help others less fortunate. An excellent nursery.

My daughter started nursery in February 2021 during the covid 19 period, and I was a little apprehensive to say the least about leaving my daughter with anyone except myself to return to work; however I didn’t need to be as Luan’s little people is like a home from home and my daughter absolutely loves it there. The staff are absolutely amazing, and treat my daughter as their own; each and every one of them are focused on providing her with the best experience whilst she is there and as a result my daughter has thrived. The level of care they provided is second to none and nothing short of outstanding, I wouldn’t send my daughter anywhere else. What an amazing establishment and the staff should all be extremely proud of the care and environment they provide.

From the moment we visited Luan’s, we felt welcome and my little boy felt instantly safe. He loves attending nursery and the staff have always been so accommodating to his extra needs; truly treating our little one like one of their own. He is always happy to go and sad to leave. As parents, we have found our experience with Luan’s nothing but positive, so much so, our little boy will continue attending the setting instead of moving on to a school nursery.

Beautiful nursery. Really lovely staff and management. They provide great care and really listen to what your little one needs. Lots of different activities inside and outdoors and take time to understand the extra things about your child. Very pleased with the nursery and the staff really do make the experience all the better for both children and parents. My little one loves attending nursery and even says goodnight to the staff at bedtime :) thank you for giving him such a lovely home from home environment and treating the children as you would your own.
