What it's like to attend

• Children are extremely happy and secure, arriving excited for their day and readily engaging with activities and resources.
• All children, including babies, have excellent bonds with staff who are wonderfully caring and attentive.
• Children are encouraged to become independent, with babies learning to feed themselves and older children taking on responsibilities like setting up lunch tables.
• Children's behaviour is exemplary, with babies and younger children receiving gentle reminders about sharing, and older children being patient and kind.
• The leadership team has very high expectations and supports staff, fostering a highly knowledgeable team that uses self-evaluation to improve all areas of the nursery.
• Children are making excellent progress in their learning, with staff swiftly providing additional support or higher challenges as needed.
• Partnerships with parents are integral to the nursery's success, with efforts made to involve them in every stage of their child's development and open communication for rapidly changing needs.
• Staff help children to build a love of stories and books, with children displaying an excellent understanding of how to use books for learning and staff adding drama and imagination to stories.
• Safeguarding arrangements are effective, with staff demonstrating a secure understanding of child protection procedures and robust risk assessments to ensure children's safety.
