Busy Bees at Epsom is an Ofsted-rated 'Good' nursery, operating since 2009, that welcomes children aged 1 to 4 years old. Open all year round from 8am to 6pm, the nursery provides a warm and engaging environment where children quickly settle into well-resourced rooms and confidently explore their surroundings.
The curriculum, based on children's interests, ensures that children are happy and emotionally secure, developing negotiation and problem-solving skills through engaging activities. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive effective support from a dedicated SENCo who collaborates with parents and professionals to create swift, individualized plans.
There is also effective support for children who speak English as an additional language, with staff learning keywords and translators providing specialist support. Outdoor learning is a key part of the experience, with children encouraged to be "garden detectives," exploring the nature garden, delighting in finding worms, and learning about their habitats and safety.
Strong partnerships with parents are fostered through regular information exchange and collaboration with local health visiting teams, ensuring views are heard and children's progress is supported. The nursery celebrates diversity, teaching children about different cultures and faiths like Black History and Diwali, fostering respect and understanding in the children.

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) have effective support. The special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) uses assessments to identify gaps in learning and works with parents and other professionals to ensure swift plans are in place. This ensures children are continuously making progress.
Staff encourage children to be garden detectives and check the nature garden is safe and secure before bug hunts. Children express delight in finding worms in the garden and learn about where they live.
Both my kids are looked after by the lovely people of Busy Bees and among all, I love the leadership strategies of Leah the Centre Directress who sets an example for all those who step into the premises. The warm welcome and the availability at all times for parents is something extraordinary I see in her management. Thanks to Busy Bees management and staff for your dedication in giving the best. Keep growing.
Read on GoogleHighly Recommend! My son went to this nursery and I couldn’t recommend enough. Brilliant staff. Both Laura and Carolina extremely supportive on my son’s education and development. Carolina played a huge part, as she is bilingual so my little one felt a lot more confident there . Staff very understanding and non-judgmental , rooms always very clean :)

Read on GoogleOnly the best impressions of the kindergarten!!!! There were certain fears before visiting the institution, because we are not local and the girls do not speak English. Fortunately, they all dissipated at the beginning. The atmosphere is very friendly. Thank you to the team for welcoming us into the busy bees family.
Read on GoogleMy toddler was struggling at a previous nursery and in desperation we tried a new start at Busy bees Epsom. If I knew how amazing his transformation would be I would of swapped him a year before! The staff is so loving and understanding, he loves everybody there and is such a happy feeling to see him going every morning with a happy face instead of in tears as before. Thank you all for all your hard work 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 highly recommend them
