Maggie's Day Nursery in Eastbourne provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, focusing on their holistic development. Individual learning plans are created and reviewed regularly in collaboration with parents, utilising the online learning journal Famly to keep families engaged in their child's progress. The nursery aims to prepare children for school by building their confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

Fees are structured by age bands: under 2 years, 2 to 3 years, and 3 years and above. Charges vary for full-time weekly, daily, and half-day (AM/PM) sessions. Additional fees apply for meals under funding, registration, and deposits.

Staff know what they want children to learn and are good at adapting teaching to suit the needs of children, including those with SEND, while they play.
Children learn the names of bugs they find when they dig in the garden. Children develop good physical skills; for instance, they develop their strength, coordination, balance and spatial awareness when they ride around the garden on scooters.
