Manna House Day Nursery, established in May 1994 and operating from a purpose-built facility since 2003, offers comprehensive childcare for children from birth through to school age. Rooted in Christian values, the nursery is committed to providing a loving and accepting environment for all children, recognising each as an individual regardless of their background.
The nursery operates in close partnership with The Manna House Charity and Tamworth Elim Church, extending its support to community projects like the Tamworth Foodbank. Situated on Bamford Street in Glascote, the premises are designed with high safety standards and child enjoyment in mind, featuring rooms specifically equipped for various age groups in alignment with Department of Education, OFSTED, and Early Years Guidelines.
The curriculum is structured around the Early Year's Foundation Stage Framework, focusing on seven key areas of learning including Personal, Social & Emotional development, Communication & Language, and Physical development, among others. Manna House Day Nursery aims to work collaboratively with parents to meet the individual needs of each child.

We believe that all children have the right not only to learn corporately but also individually. We believe that each child has the right to be loved and accepted for who they are regardless of how others feel they should be. We accept the task of training, caring, loving, educating and teaching social skills. We believe that our staff should consist of people who have a commitment to the well-being and care of children.

A strong key-person system helps babies and young children form close bonds with staff, providing comfort and continuity with home routines. The curriculum focuses on teaching children boundaries, routines, responsibility, and social skills through engaging games and activities.
Fees apply to children aged 9 months to 4 years and include meals, extra-curricular lessons, and trips. Funded children are subject to a daily meal charge, with an option to provide own meals from April 2025.

Inclusion & environment
Leaders prioritise staff training, with recent focus on extending the knowledge and skills for the provision of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The provision for children with SEND is a particular strength, and leaders focus diligently on seeking support from outside professionals when children need additional support. They provide one-to-one support while funding is being arranged. The special educational needs coordinator spoke to the inspector about how they support children with SEND.
The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
Daughters loves it here. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Lots of activities for the children to do and I often get sent photos of what my daughter has been upto. My daughter has come on so well since going here.
