About this day nursery

Maple Grove Community Group in March, Cambridgeshire, provides all-year care for children from two to eleven years old. The day nursery opens Monday to Friday, from 7.45am to 6pm. In September 2022, Ofsted inspected the day nursery and rated it 'Outstanding' overall. The inspector reported that the quality of teaching is exceptional, with staff skilled in sparking children's natural curiosity. Children were seen to demonstrate a fantastic attitude to learning and build exceptional bonds with staff.

Ofsted described the indoor and outdoor environments as remarkably well thought out. In the garden, children develop physical skills as they climb, balance, and complete obstacle courses. The setting provides a language-rich environment and helps children learn about healthy lifestyles through activities such as daily yoga. The inspector noted that staff tailor learning to support every child's needs, and children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, make excellent progress.

Our little boy attended maple grove for 2 years. In those 2 years I have seen him grow and become a confident young boy. The staff in yellow room are exceptional, the care and compassion they show is outstanding. We have always felt supported, listened to and respected buy everyone in yellow room and the main office team. These ladies are such a blessing and a fantastic way to start the journey to school. Thank you to these wonderful ladies.

The centre manager does not follow the policies in place to protect staff. I am having to represent a cleaner at the school who was unfairly dismissed without meeting the panel as stated in the policy. I am disgusted at their arrogance in various communications regarding this poor woman's case. Looking forward to meeting with my local councillor about their poor knowledge of basic employment law.
