Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff identify children who need extra help or those with special educational needs and/or disabilities and request support if needed. Staff are aware of strategies to support children, such as visual aids, but do not consistently include these in daily practice. Leaders have identified the need for more specialised SEND training to meet the needs of the current cohort and are planning this proactively to ensure staff are increasingly confident and skilled.

EAL / language support

Children who start at the setting unfamiliar with English quickly learn new words through songs, stories, signs, and everyday conversations. The setting consistently uses home languages during play, ensuring children feel recognised and included.

Monkey Puzzle Greenford has been absolutely amazing from the very start. When my son joined the baby room, the staff made us feel so comfortable and supported. They were kind, patient, and genuinely caring. You could tell they loved what they do and really took the time to get to know each child. The communication was always great too. We were updated throughout the day with photos and notes, which meant so much, especially in those early weeks when everything feels new and emotional. The management team were also really approachable and understanding, it honestly felt like being part of a big, warm family. We were so sad when we had to leave because of a house move. If we could have taken Monkey Puzzle Greenford with us, we would have. They gave our little one such a lovely start, and we’ll always be grateful for that.

From the moment we walked through the doors, it felt like a second home a loving, kind, and supportive environment where every child is treated like family. The staff go above and beyond to nurture each child’s growth with warmth and patience, making sure they feel safe and valued. The atmosphere is truly special. It’s not just about learning, but about building strong relationships and a real sense of belonging. Our child settled in quickly and loves being at the nursery.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Monkey Puzzle in Greenford over the past year. Like many parents, we were nervous about sending our son to nursery for the first time, and I spent a lot of time researching options. From the very beginning, it was clear just how much Jana and her team genuinely care for the children. They’ve created such a nurturing, fun, and supportive environment – it honestly feels like a second family. Our son absolutely loves going in each day, and it’s been amazing to watch his language and social skills flourish. His days are full of enriching activities, and I completely trust the team – not just with his wellbeing, but also in supporting his early development in such a thoughtful, encouraging way. We feel so lucky to have found Monkey Puzzle and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a place where their child will be cared for, supported, and truly thrive.

My son started attending Monkey Puzzle Greenford at 7.5 months old. I was very anxious at first, as it was our first experience with nurseries. But once I met the staff, all my worries disappeared. The team is incredibly kind, caring, and responsible — they genuinely love children. I felt completely comfortable entrusting my baby to them, as it’s clear that they surround every child with love and care. The teachers are very professional; they help children develop their abilities as well as their self-confidence. The menu is excellent. There’s also a wonderful app where they upload daily updates and photos of your child throughout the day. Our family is absolutely delighted with Monkey Puzzle Greenford! We wish the nursery continued success and prosperity! Kind regards

Monkey Puzzle has been such a wonderful and nurturing place for our daughter. From day one, the care, love, and support received from the entire team made such a positive impact on their development and confidence. We’re especially grateful to Jana, Amina, and all the amazing staff who became like a second family. Their warmth, patience, and love helped shape a happy, and confident little learner, ready for the next chapter.. Monkey Puzzle has been a huge stepping stone in these early years, and our child will deeply miss all the lovely friends and peers who’ve been such an important part of this journey.
