Unique Child Montessori Nursery in Northolt provides a nurturing environment for children from 6 months to 5 years old. Housed in a charming detached former school building, the nursery opened its doors in September 2008, aiming to inspire learning and foster individuality.

The Montessori-led curriculum is divided into age-specific rooms: the Tulips Baby Room (6-24 months) emphasises peace and natural materials, the Acorns Toddler Room (24 months-3 years) promotes independence with child-sized furniture and varied activities, and the Oakleys Preschool Room (3-5 years) integrates Montessori categories like Practical Life, Sensorial, Maths, Language, and Cultural Topics, alongside creative arts and physical play. Daily nutritious meals are provided, and the nursery operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The outdoor area is designed for physical activity, role-play, and imaginative games, with many indoor activities also taking place outside. Parents receive learning journeys with photos and observations, and the nursery prioritises safeguarding and British values.

How they support every child

SEND provision

All children progress from their starting points, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Staff work closely with parents and professionals from other agencies to identify children with SEND early.

Outdoor space

Children use the outdoor space every day. Children play outside with ride-on toys and learn about the natural world as they learn about the lifecycle of snails. They run, climb and balance with enthusiasm.

EAL / language support

Children, including those who speak English as an additional language, are becoming confident communicators. Staff are effective role models. They use clear speech and repeat simple words and phrases to secure children's understanding.
