My Little Kingdom Day Nursery offers a nature-inspired learning environment across its Prudhoe and Ashington locations. Catering to children aged 0-5 years, the nursery prides itself on an ethos of "Learning with Nature," heavily influenced by the Forest School approach.
Children are encouraged to explore and connect with the natural world, fostering holistic development through investigation, outdoor activities, and creative thinking. The curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage, emphasising strong relationships among parents, teachers, children, and the broader community.
The nursery provides all meals and snacks, and incorporates community engagement through visits to local beauty spots, allotments, shops, and parks. Daily communication journals for babies and secure online journals for all parents ensure transparent communication about each child's day and development.
My Little Kingdom strives to activate children's natural desire to learn within a supportive and engaging outdoor setting.

Parents are highly complimentary about the setting and feel supported by the staff.
Parents feel that they are kept up to date with their children's learning through weekly galleries and their child's online learning.
Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported well. For example, staff use visual aids and children have individual targets to support their learning. There are links in place with professionals.
Children explore an exciting, well-resourced outdoor environment which challenges their physical skills and supports their understanding of the world. Older children make bird feeders and talk about why the birds need the food in wintertime. Children climb and balance outdoors, clearly enjoying the freedom to explore, and confidently use all of the resources available.
Great friendly child minders, would highly recommend 10/10
