Mylor Pre-School, located in Mylor village near Falmouth, is a well-established childcare setting that has been serving the community since 1971. Operating from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, during term time only, the pre-school offers a warm and nurturing environment where children aged 2 to 4 can flourish.

The dedicated team, which includes a manager with qualified teacher status and five level 3 qualified early years staff, provides a well-planned and ambitious curriculum. Children are encouraged to explore and develop their skills through engaging activities, from imaginative play and creative arts to discovering the natural world and its creatures.

The setting prides itself on fostering strong relationships with children and their families, ensuring children feel safe, secure, and confident. Parents consistently provide positive feedback, noting their children's significant progress in communication and confidence.

What it's like

On arrival, children spend time with their parents in the pre-school, showing them the toys and activities they will be playing with that day. They confidently wave goodbye to their parents and find their friends. Children feel safe and secure, and staff understand the positive influence that building strong relationships with children and their families has on children's development. Children make good progress from their starting points.
