How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff identify children with special educational needs and/or disabilities quickly. The highly skilled and dedicated staff provide care and plans for these children. Staff support children who are learning dual languages at home very well, using key vocabulary from children's home languages to enhance communication skills and ensure excellent progress.

Outdoor space

Staff further promote children's good health through spending plenty of time outdoors. Children excitedly grow their own produce in the garden and understand how the plants need water on a sunny day. Children continue their learning in their free play inside and in the garden.

We made the difficult decision to withdraw our daughter from N Family Club due to serious concerns about her wellbeing, care and the nursery’s culture. While the branding and sales process present a polished, premium image, our experience did not reflect this. Settling-in plans were changed at short notice, she was moved rooms on her first day without discussion, and staff did not appear prepared for her arrival. Communication was poor throughout. We received no meaningful updates on her development and room and staffing changes were not clearly communicated. When our daughter became seriously unwell and required emergency medical treatment, there was no welfare follow up from her key worker. We also had repeated concerns about day to day care and inclusivity. Most upsetting was the impact on our daughter. She began showing visible anxiety about attending; closing her eyes as soon as we left home for the bus, and again when she realised we had arrived. No parent should see their child react that way to childcare. After leaving, we learned from other families that similar concerns were common. Despite being asked for feedback and providing it in detail, we received no acknowledgement or response. The overall culture felt closed, defensive and unhealthy rather than transparent and family focused. A few individual staff members were kind, but overall our experience fell far below expectations, and we could not confidently leave our child in their care.

We recently started our 13 month old at N Family Club Angel full time and he could not be happier. He’s in the Lookout and our key worker Teresa, has just been incredible with our son. The other staff we have met have also been nice but Teresa has been really reassuring and is always keeping us up to date. She’s definitely the reason as to why our son managed to settle in so quickly and you can tell she really cares for all the babies. She goes above and beyond what you’d expect - creating little family photo album books and laminating their “art” they’ve created. We are happy and feel safe knowing that he’s in her care! The children have so many activities and get to do fun things every day (including trips out to the park and the farm) and I love that we get daily updates and pictures in the app. The food menu (updated weekly) looks incredible and is always varied with lots of delicious meals (it makes me jealous)! He’s been here for just over 2 months now and we are really happy with the service and how accommodating N Family have been. Thank you so much to all the team - Teresa, the carers, the managers, the cooks, everyone - you have made it so much easier to transition our son into nursery!

We couldn’t be happier with the N Family Club in Angel! The staff are incredibly kind, caring, and attentive — it’s clear they genuinely love what they do. Every day is filled with fun, engaging activities and I get so excited to receive picture updates of the activities in the app each day. They do an amazing job of communicating with parents and keeping us updated. I've also been very impressed by the clean facilities and well-balanced, nutritious meals that are served each day. It’s such a nurturing and joyful environment — we’re so grateful to have found it!

We LOVE N family Angel, our daughter has been with them for over a year now and we couldn’t be happier. The Fortress team were amazing at helping us settle in, get used to nursery routine and feel safe to leave our little one for the first time. The team were attentive, caring and professional. Exactly what we needed! We’ve now moved in to the Cove and again the team are faultless, nothing but great things to say about the nursery as a whole.
